We found this site to be lovely, from the cleanliness and upkeep of the site. It was very peaceful and although on the outskirts of the town by the racecourse it is still within walking distance of the town. It wasn’t a race day when we stayed so I cannot comment on how it is for traffic etc on those days. Shower block was very clean although the cubicles are a little on the small side, no room for a bench to safely store clothes whilst showering but still perfectly adequate. The bin and fluid disposal areas were very tidy and clean. Lee and Sarah the on site wardens couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful with several minor hiccups we had. We found plenty to see and do within a small radius of the site and it was a pleasant walk into the town for a quick drink of an evening. This is definitely a place we will return to.
