Having bought a driveaway awning for our mazda bongo my wife and I decided to book 2 nights to try it out. We arrived at about 4pm on the Friday afternoon and were immediately made to feel at home by Jools and D, having set up in the blistering heat we went to freshen up and were suitably impressed by the facilities which were both clean and functional. That night we had several massive thunderstorms and thought at one point that the whole pitch would be flooded by the morning. Upon looking out of the window the following morning I was amazed to find the water all but gone. Having had a lovely day exploring parts of Lincolnshire we returned to the site and were informed by a neighbour that D had been repegging our awning owing to the wind. Talk about going above and beyond! Well the awning survived and we've found a fantastic new site which we will definitely be visiting again.
