A lovely stay at Meathop Fell RUINED BY VANDALS.
Just had a lovely 3 night stay at Meathop Fell with my wife and grandaughter.
We had our 3 bikes locked together outside our awning. Putting the bikes on the van when we were leaving this morning, I noticed both tyres on my wife's bike were flat.
Being keen to get on with our journey I didn't check further. When I got home I saw both tyres and inner tubes had 3 inch knife cuts along the sidewalls right against the wheel rim.
No reflection on CMC but it is a shame that such scum do visit their sites.
