Compact site, but still with good sized pitches, and lots of screening hedges. Stayed here for 3 nights (2nd week in May), started with two separate bookings as no single pitch type was available for all 3 nights when we booked. Warden jumped through hoops to combine our two booking so that we did not have to move pitch during our stay. Every kind of shop, restaurant & pub you could want is withing easy walking distance, and there are lots of signed walking trails around too. As it is right in town, there is a little background noise, but nothing intrusive. Will be back for sure! As always on CAMC sites the site was well kept with immaculate facilities.
