What a delightful site! The pitches are spacious, the facilities immaculate, the area is stunning. The Wardens were exceptional - hard working, friendly, helpful and caring. They deserve a special mention for dealing with all the problems of maintaining the immaculate toilet facilities with all the Covid restrictions, especially when some visitors just do not appreciate that some sections are closed for everyone's safety! Two weeks at Merrose Farm Site was the perfect place to relax, unwind and enjoy the site and the surrounding countryside. St Mawes peninsular is quite beautiful and it is worth visiting all the beaches and coves, not forgetting the pubs! Recommend picking a sunny day for a trip to St Anthony's Head and enjoy the sunning scenery and investigate the past of this fascinating area. The dog walks nearby are excellent and especially the huge fenced-in dog exercise field, which dogs can go off lead if you wish. Could have happily stayed another two weeks in this peaceful haven.
