We have stayed at Merrose before and enjoyed our time here. Albeit a lot busier! The park is clean tidy and well maintained . The wardens do a great job . Plenty of Covid precautions in place and most people were abiding by the procedures which was comforting. The site has a mixture of hard standing and a lovely grassy area at the top of the site. There is a lovely farm shop within 10 mins walk stocking fab fresh fish crab etc small amount of frozen meat, deli type produce and a lovely display of fresh fruit and veg . Great walks along the coastal path to Portscatho via the hidden hut . Which got very busy and was a Covid free zone ! Coastal paths were great with stunning views but unfortunately spoilt by inconsiderate dogs owners . A trip to the Roseland Peninsula wouldn’t be complete without a trip to the Driftwood Restaurant excellent food service and views! All in all a great site and location . Really enjoyed our stay thank you
