Excellent when you get there
A really lovely site but not always easy to get in and out with a large vehicle. We stayed in our motorhome - fortunately with an additional car. The country roads in the areas around the site can be a bit of a nightmare and I would recommend ignoring your satnav and approaching the site from Modbury village - it is only marginally better in terms of passing-places but it at least it is the shortest distance from the nearest A road. If you want to take a motorhome on a visit to Bigbury or Mothercombe be prepared for a lot of stopping and starting, although we did find the local car drivers very considerate on the narrow roads - that said, parking at both locations was not a problem, albeit a shortish walk from the beaches.
The staff on site were very friendly and well organised to meet the challenges of COVID-19. All the facilities were immaculately clean, fully functional and not showing any sign of age despite being, apparently, "very dated" - indeed, I believe the well was fitted with a new rope and bucket only last year :-)
