Good for families

Large with great access

This site may have it's faults, yes its on a busy road, but look at the map and you would know that. Yes it has a new glamping area, but that's great to enable your extended family to stay with you if they don't have a caravan. I would be really upset if the noise went on till 3am, and the wardens need to get a handle on this. Having said all of this, the site is large and busy but has access to some fantastic experiences. We have a dog and are always looking for things to do where we can include him. Moreton is very dog friendly, with most venues allowing dogs to tag along. The path from the rear of the site takes you into Moreton avoiding the road and to Batsford Arboretum where dogs are very welcome in all areas of the gardens. A car journey away you have Hidcote National Trust gardens, unfortunately no dogs, but lots of parking for motorhomes and really worth a visit. Cafe is always busy so try one in Chipping Campden - lovely town and not too busy. Bourton-on-water is a real tourist attraction, so unless you like hundreds of people, expensive parking and expensive food, then I would avoid, although Greystones Farm Nature Reserve is off the beaten track and affords you a walk in the countryside and a way of getting away from the crowds. If you like walking, take a drive out to Ilmington where you can do a circular walk through the beautiful village and out to Ebrington Hill, where the views are fabulous and then have lunch at The Howard Arms - highly recommended Great site, with lots to do and see
