We stayed here at the beginning of October for only our second trip of the year. This is one of our favourite sites and have visited on a few occasions. Nothing much has changed facilities wise which for the size of the site are pretty much upto scratch. To be honest, all good as far as the club and staff are concerned, but I do wonder what planet some fellow members live on. Having a young child with us for a couple of nights we had a need to use the family bathroom. On one evening, we found that some individual had actually taken their prized pooch into the family bathroom, washed and showered it in the bath, and then just left it in the most disgusting state with pet hairs all around. I have absolutely no issues with pets, having had dogs of my own in the past, but, there are dog washing facilities provided on site. Why on earth do we have to be subjected to such disgusting behaviour. I’m sorry if poor little pooch might have to suffer a cold water shower, but such is life. If you don’t like it get some nice warm water from your van and clean it in your space. It would also be very helpful if said pooches were walked in the dog walk area, rather than pop out of your van, get them to mess of others pitches then back to their own pitch. I sound very anti dog here, but actually I’m very anti owners that do not respect other humans. Your dog is your problem, don’t try and make it mine. In a nutshell, site great, site staff great, a few people ruin it for the majority.
