A wonderful winter mini break

We have just spent 3 nights at this lovely clean & well kept site. It was quiet which is how we like, I am not sure what it would be like in high season. This is a wonderful spot to rest at, walk from or drive out to visit places. We had a wonderful drive out to see the seals at Horsey which was spectacular, this too gave us the chance to visit Poppylands a1940's tea room which is a must to visit too. We had a lovely walk to St Bennets Abbey & back via Ludham. We would have like to visit more place along the river but it was too muddy in places to go safely. The pub 2 minutes walk from the site was sadly shut, from what I can gather was because the boat people would not visit safely when they moored up near by. This is a shame as it would have been good to go. The site wardens are wonderfully friendly and should be proud of their efforts at keeping the site so lovely. This site is ideal for us as only just over an hour from home and we hope to visit again. Thank you for a pleasant time.
