Relaxing break with first class service

After the second lockdown we were desparate to get away, and wanted to do so before the tier systems were reviewed again. This site had been on our radar for a while, and as opening had been extended this year we took advantage to visit out of season. The welcome at reception was the friendliest I have encountred at any club site. Everything was explained in a very helpful and efficient manner. A 5 hour power cut was scheduled for the following day as National Grid needed to carry out some necessary work. The implications of this were explained with advice and an information sheet handed to us. We had a problem with the tap on our serviced pitch during our stay and this was immediately investigated and resolved by Dennis one of the wardens. The immediate area is brilliant for walks with some wonderful views along the way. We walked to How Hill Staithe one day and back to the site by the River Ant. Another day we walked to St Benet's Abbey and then on to Womack Water and along the river towards Potter Heigham. There is also a bus stop close to the site entrance with buses to Wroxham and Norwich. Something that we hope to explore next time we visit. This place is a gem and we definitely intend to return!
