Very disappointed with this site. Not what Iwe have come to expect from a club site. We knew there were no facilities on this site when we booked but did not expect there to be old subsided facilities left looking neglected and run down. This was the general impression of the whole site, tired and run down. There were cracked walls round the dustbins, litter that was not picked up all week and many unoccupied seasonal caravans that make the site feel deserted. When we arrived, we were told by the warden that there were travellers on the site. Although this did not cause us any problems, it is not what we would expect from a club site. The barrier was left open all night on one occasion and this did not make us feel very secure. There were puppy dogs running free without leads and no action was taken regarding this by the wardens who must have been aware of this as it happened on a number of occasions. The Wifi is only a hotspot and the download speeds were very poor. All the taps for waste water and chemical emptying points leaked badly. We have been with the club for 38 years and this is the worst site we have been on.
