Great location - outclassed only by the quality of the wardens!

We have booked a seasonal pitch for the first time ever and booked it here but first things first: Kim and Donna (wardens) are exceptional! Returning to caravanning after a 30 year break, some things have improved (the quality of caravans) and somethings have declined (my memory and caravanning knowledge and skills),. Consequently we made some embarrassing, novice errors including some fairly rudimentary things: how to hitch up the van and the "batting order "of handbrake, leg stays, motor mover (a new gadget for us) etc. At one stage we had to move the van into the compound to be serviced and I couldn't get the tow bar onto the vehicle. Kim spotted my distress and got out his own car to tow it there for me (and reversed it into its spot with jealousy-inducing deftness). Later I had my caravan keys stolen form my car (not on the site and miles away, thank goodness). I phoned the site to warn them and they kept an eye on my van and phoned immediately me when it had been taken off site overnight (by us). What service and what patience with my Mr Bean-goes-caravanning style! So for us the quality of service comes first. But what about the site? It is immaculately maintained, spacious and green. we find it quiet and don't have the experience some have stated of the intrusion of some road noise. Why 4 stars out of 5? only because the toilet block is out of order (something for the C&MH Club to invest in) although as previous reviews note, this is very clearly shown before booking and was no problem for us personally. The access to the coast and to the towns/cities of Arundel, Brighton, Chichester and Portsmouth is excellent and allows for a variety of holiday experiences. We love it!
