The warden and his wife couldn’t have been more helpful, friendly and welcoming. It’s not their fault that the facilities block has been closed for 10 years due to subsidence. For a club site this is disgraceful and instead of buying up sites the club ought to be upgrading this type of site which is large by any standards. There is a lot of lawnmower noise all day/evening from the sports club next door and certain campers had bird feeders out which attracted nothing but magpies and the screeching noise they make fighting each other for food from 0430 onwards is unbelievable. So well positioned for the coastal towns but so disappointing for the dismal lack of facilities.
