Once this site was a lovely peaceful place with well kept grass pitches and a well maintained clean toilet block, which we have regularly visited over a period of 25 years or so. Oh Dear What has happened? First the demise of the toilet block some six or seven years ago, next introduction of season pitches (which in my opinion has completely ruined the look of the place) with un cut grass around the units. There are brown mud areas where people who reside on site on a three week on and two nights off basis, have had their units and awnings.The site now allows travellers, with their array of transits and other work vehicles in the car park. So time for the council and caravan club between them to decide the future of the site, is it to become a residential site, traveller's site or a caravan club site. Time will tell but we feel at this moment the site does not offer good value for money
