Good for families

Love this site but this time................................

We love this site and visit as often as we can, most recently this last week. However; sorry to have to say that on this occasion our holiday was spoilt by the fact that traveller families were on site and although to start with they weren't causing a problem, as our week went on the noise at night/early hours of the morning got worse interrupting ours and everybody else's sleep with raised voices/door slamming and a total inconsideration for others at this time. We also had concerns about a small animal that was being kept in a red bucket in a work van overnight and outside a caravan door during the day. We couldn't make out what sort of animal it was as all we could see was a little head peering over the top of the bucket! We are by no means prejudice people and believe in live and let live but when things get out of hand and other people's behaviour causes us and others to lose sleep and feel threatened we ask why these people are allowed back onto C&MH camp sites when they are causing a problem to members? This is the 2nd time this year we have been on different camp sites where travellers have spoilt members' holidays with their unacceptable behaviour some of which is against the C & MH Club rules. If we behaved in such a way we would expect to be spoken to! Ending on a positive note, Northbrook Farm is a lovely, well maintained "usually" peaceful site. Hopefully it won't deter members from returning!

Did you consider the welfare of the animal and investigate further, maybe with the site managers?
