We stayed here for 2 weeks to explore the Black Mountains area of Wales. Having read all of the reviews before we booked, we were apprehensive but actually had a superb holiday. The site was full both weekends but didn't feel busy! The facilities are dated as many people have commented, but they were kept clean and tidy and didn't seem particularly busy even when the site was full. We worried about the train noise before we arrived, but quite honestly weren't disturbed by them at all - yes the trains run quite frequently and yes they run through the night but never once were we awakened by them. Wardens were friendly and helpful and an excellent dog walk area - all in all a super site!!
