Excellent stay
Everything about this site was perfect for us with plenty to do. Having two dogs means good walks essential and these are in abundance. A walk up to Hatterall Hill just out of (and behind) the site is a must. The views from the top give you the impression of looking out of an aeroplane window!Abergavenny and Hereford are within striking distance and if you need a break from cooking the Pandy Inn just a stones throw away is excelllent (book though, they are justifiably busy).
A very helpful garage is located just up the main road towards abergavenny next to the Skirrid Arms pub, also a useful little store at the same location. The Brecon Beacons don't need selling and there is plenty of scope there with dan-y-or-ogof caves, Brecon Mountain Railway, reservoirs, scenery, it is never ending.
A visit here will not disappoint, not even if it is raining.
The site itself is a nice size, quiet (there is a train line but it does not distract and has the added bonus of a steam engine going by on occasion), and the staff are extremely helpful, upholding the high standards of the CC.
