Friendliest staff who couldn’t do enough!
Our welcome was amazing, with fantastic wardens. They couldn’t do enough to help, and the man jumped off his lawn mower when he saw my husband waiting at reception. The shower//toilets need a little updating, and there is a bit of road noise. The train also goes past regularly, but that did not bother us! There are fantastic walks around, and we walked to the oldest pub in the UK, who served huge portions of excellent quality food. The staff there were also so friendly. We would definitely return.
