Lovely site - when you get there!

Pandy is a beautiful site in a beautiful part of Wales and is very accessible - though it's weird that the Club's recommended route suggests everyone approaches via Abergavenny. Fine if you come from South Wales or Bristol but bizarre if you come from the Midlands or North of England - especially as there's an official route for high-sided vehicles from the M50 to the main Hereford-Pandy road. From the end of the M50 take the A49 and then the B4348 (this is the designated road and is a good wide carriageway without a significant hill on it) to the A465. Turn left and you're at Pandy in no time. Be warned though that there are no caravan site signs off the main road so look out for the right turn alongside the Old Pandy Inn - you're approaching from the opposite direction to the directions on the club website. NB None of the other B roads in the area are suitable for caravans. Great site staff who keep the place spick and span and are very helpful. Pity there are no full service pitches but I know that's a minority interest for lazy caravanners like me!
