Wet Easter

We changed our plans as it was so wet over Easter & made the short trip to Pandy in the Brecon Beacons for 3 nights. A lovely welcome from wardens we recognised from help they gave us at Pembray 3 years before! The roads on site are narrow as are many of the hard standing pitches which on s very wet day made manoeuvring onto the pitch without damaging the muddy grass tricky! However once on the pitch we had a lovely location by the fast flowing river. The toilet block whilst always very clean is very old and needs updating as a matter of urgency! Must be a nightmare when busy as it’s small & rather “used” in appearance. Great dog walk which my dog loved although it was a bit muddy which meant some visitors walked their pets on the actual site which is always annoying! Lots to do locally, walking, castles, pubs & it’s very scenic. Abergavenny us great too! It can be s but of a noisy site being alongside the railway line and A road but that shouldn’t put you off visiting a lively area & well managed site with excellent wardens. A little bit pricy bearing in mind the tired toilet block!

I was there last year and was perfectly happy with the toilet block.
