We stayed here for the first part of our family holiday in July. The site staff were fantastic and the site is well laid out. We chose a pitch near the playing field so that our children could have easy access. This was a risk due to noise but the site fell quite between 9 and 10 every-night. The toilet block, although old, was in a very good state and was always clean with plenty of hot water. I was concerned after reading a number of reviews about the facilities but They were unfounded in my opinion. We did have one issue. When we arrived we had an issue with the fact that a previous tenant of the pitch had let their dog pee all over the hardstanding where the awning was set-up. This cause a horrid stink inside the awning. I mentioned this to the site staff who advised a course of action and were very apologetic. After spreading over 200 ltrs of water on the site, the smell eventually began to subside. Not great ecologically but it was the only solution. Owners please don't let your dog pee on the hardstanding!
