LOVELY SETTING

A very well managed site in a lovely wooded setting which is full of interesting wildlife. You need transport to get around to the many interesting locations in this beautiful area of the countryside. The facilities are right up to standard, and we were lucky to have 4 of the nicest, sunny March days that we can ever remember. The only negative was the arrival of new neighbours who killed off any chance of seeing any wildlife because they sat in their awning from 3.00pm until 10.30pm watching TV at a volume sufficiently loud to be audible even in our closed van! No fault of the site, just an unlucky choice of neighbours on our last day!

There is a good bus service to Sidmouth and Honiton which we use as m/homers. It is one of our favourite sites as we live in Cornwall and is a good stopover.  I am afraid I would have been round to your thoughtless neighbours  to ask them to go inside the van.  There is absolutely no need to have a TV in the awning.  It is bad enough if the doors and windows are open!Think of the cacophony if we all were so thoughtless! We would probably have moved pitches even for one night as it is so easy with a motorhome.  Better luck next time.
