Just returned from 7 nights at this club site. And what a great stay on a great site! It was very wet when we arrived - and continued in that way for most of the week - but that didn't spoil our stay. Nice big HS pitch, lovely clean facilities and grounds and an exceptionally friendly and cheerful warden team making sure things run smoothly (even when someone took out the exit barrier!) They even arrange a fish & chips run twice a week - an interesting variation on the visiting van - and the portions were huge. There is occasional noise from aircraft, presumably put of Exeter airport, but nothing too intrusive. Lots of walks nearby, certainly enough to tire our Irish Setter, Lady, out! Sidmouth is a nice old fashioned holiday resort - Branscombe and Beer are both well worth visiting as are Budleigh Salterton and Exmouth. For shopping, Honiton has a Tesco and Ottery St Mary a Sainsburys. This was a return visit after 5 years but we certainly won't leave it so long before returning.
