Disappointed

We have stayed at Ramslade a few times now. So very aware of the road leading to the site and what's around to visit. So we were looking forward to our holiday. On arrival the greeting was not great so thought the warden may have been having a bad day. This must have been a bad time as she was like this the whole stay. She was the most un-welcoming person I have ever made contact with in a customer service role what ever you asked or requested it was always negative. It is preached everywhere on site use your own facilities where possible. When I asked if they would accept a delivery yes but it will be left on the table outside and if it needs signing for it will be rejected. I wanted to purchase something through the caravan club as my toilet cassette broke so was willing to spend £85 and stay on site all day to collect off the table outside. I did my research and it was to be signed for so spent the next 8 days without use of my toilet in the van. My next hurdle was knowing the site was a silver wifi network, soon as we set up the wife and myself paid the fee for 7 nights and not once did we get signal the next morning off I went to see the wardens in the office and low and behold it was the dragon I asked if there was any issues with the WiFi signal no idea its nothing to do with us and if your at bottom of park it never works down there and gave me a leaflet, she asked what network you on? EE I replied oh that not good either O2 best you could always buy a sim and buy some data. We returned to Ramslade as its a silver wifi label, so I could do some work and log on if I needed too to help out with any emergency. Twice I had to take my laptop off site and sit in a carpark and log on. If she know the wifi was poor or none exciting she should advise us of this or even report it back to head office to advise of its poor performance. I rang the company who was as helpful as a chocolate fire guard. Another complaint to write. Beside this warden been rude not approachable. Ramslade is a lovely site a little dated now compared to other site we have visited. The toilet block is spotless and the site is well presented. Dog walk is big and good to excise your dog. I would recommend Sid's pizza for sure. Not the fish and chip van though. I know for a fact Ramslade will not been in our future visit. We have booked our next year's holiday and we are going to try a non camc site. Overall in these crazy times holiday are there to recover and relax. This one individual as made me comment like I have. I hope the person reads it and looks in the mirror as read a few comments about warden's as thought it may just be us. you are paying for a service and it's been poor. Come on club vet your people who represent your brand a lot better or at least read the reviews and monitor them with mystery shop and see for yourselves.
