We had eleven nights on here in our motorhome and we really enjoyed ourselves. We had a nice pitch not far from the amazing dog field. Our dog loved the opportunity to run freely and chase her ball. The playing field for the children was also exceptional. All the facilities were of a very high standard. Special thanks must go to the warden who sorted out a delicate problem for us. A couple, a few pitches down from us, played loud music one afternoon. When it started up again the following afternoon my husband asked them very politely to turn it down a bit. The woman said sorry and duly turned it down, whereupon her husband bellowed at her to turn it back up as he couldn’t hear it. She turned it back up and he came striding over to our pitch. He told us that playing loud music was okay before 11pm and that this was what caravaning was all about. He went on to say that if we didn’t like it, we could leave. I was upset by the loud music and his very aggressive outburst, so I walked over and spoke to the warden. We never heard from them again, so a big thanks to the wardens for their prompt intervention.
