Richmond Hargill new caravanner
Lovely situation in North Yorkshire overlooking a beautiful valley to the south. Gently sloping with broad spacious pitches. Grass areas and facilities are kept immaculate. Very easy access just a few minutes off the A1 so handy for north and south. Ancient market towns Richmond and Barnard Castle both a short drive away. 2 good pubs in Gilling West 1 mile down into the valley, one with a floral beer garden by the burn. Yorkshire prices. This was our first trip away with a caravan. The Warden helped us onto the pitch without me asking him to, provided loads of technical advice and booked a local repair man to sort an electrical problem for us. We were booked for 3 days but stayed 6.
Also, worth noting, butcher meat, craft ale and local veg are really excellent in this part of Yorkshire.
If you are a family, there is a hedged ball games area, so its not too difficult keeping young folk to the caravan and motor home club rules which are the same on all of their sites.
