Weekend break

My wife are over 70 and booked this site last minute to have a mini break. Our first impression was not good as we had to wait in heaving traffic on the approach to the site. We could see from the road the caravans so we guessed straight away that there would be traffic noise, coupled with a mini dust storm from an adjacent field which was blowing to the side of the site, however the apprehension was forgotten once we got to the reception. We were greeted by Kay, who gave us the run down of the site, supplied with a map and told to choose a vacant white posted pitch and let her know where we were. The site was spotlessly clean and tidy, the only thing I think was amiss was that there should have been markings on the double rows as to where the vehicles could access and regress without the danger of driving over other pitches electric hook up cables. Due to Covid, we decided not to use the toilet block facilities. Yes it was noisy due to the close proximity of the main roads, but on a personal note the road noise did not bother us. The main noise which was annoying was from nearby. Music playing loudly on Saturday afternoon and evening., coming from a nearby caravan park on the other side of one of the main roads. Gernerally this was a good site, well maintained and close to a lot of facilities
