We've been coming to this site for years and it is a frim favourite but following our latest stay it will be a long time before we visit again

Wardens attitude: Checked in fine and set up on site. I then headed off to buy some groceries. I noticed on the way in that the main road to Oakham was closed and decided to ask the wardens for the best alternate route. I was met by one of the rudest individuals it has been my displeasure to meet...I was advised that they have had a convoy of people asking and I would just have to find my own way!!....I then asked if the road was closed on Greetham to which the response was..I work on the campsite, I live on the campsite how should I know!! At this point I left site office in disgust

Toilet Block: Having been here over the New Year we were advised that the adult toilet block extension would be complete ready for Easter....it is far from ready...more worryingly is the lack of regard for Health and Safety on what is a building site (check my photo's on Trip adviser). Over the Easter weekend there were 5 male and 5 female tolites to service an entire campsite (queues were forming at 07:30!)

Porta Cabin: Again check my photo's on trip advisor. For some reason they have plonked a rusty old metal porta cabin outside the family toilet block. The door is missing and there is more than enough room for children to gain access to broken glass and old electrical appliances strewn across the floor

So disappointing as you will see from an earlier review how much we loved this site
