Lovely site

We only stayed one night on this site but wish we had stayed longer. It is a fantastic place to stay with spotless facilities and beautifully maintained grounds and friendly and professional wardens we will be returning very soon

Green and Pleasant Land

Not a lot to fault about the site - large, spacious, quiet, mature trees, shrubs, grass and within walking distance of the village pub. The place was spotless as is usual with all the Club sites. So what has spoiled it a little - all the hanging plastic chain link fence and the literally dozens of yellow spiked posts warning drivers to keep off the grass. Sorry but they aren't really necessary folks.

Quiet and Dog Friendly

We stayed here for just one night but found it to be a very clean and quiet site. The staff were very friendly and helpful if a little overstretched as we all seemed to arrived at the same time! Would definately stay here again.

August Bank Holiday

We spent the August Bank Holiday weekend at West Ayton this is the second bank holiday spent here this year. The site is well run and the facilities were very clean. The location is great and there is plenty to do.

2 days before Crete

Stayed at this site for two days prior to week holiday in Crete.  Site is easy to find and well laid out. The idea was a couple of relaxing days so didn't really move from site. However knowing I am aware it will be good base for the rest of North Yorkshire. Can't fault the site had a little one with us who enjoyed the freedom. One problem was the bigger kids sitting around small kids playground. Overall very good site well maintained and village is only a ten minute walk away.

Great site!!!

Visited for the second time, this is a great site nice little village with a great pub if that takes your fancy, The on site wardens are nothing short of fantastic, very polite, very helpful and keen to make sure the site is kept to a great standard. Great location for visiting, Scarborough, Whitby and all the other East Coast location, along with the national park, York and Flamingo land not to far away. The site is really clean and tidy, well maintained and good for family's, also some nice quite areas for those that want some piece and quite, Two great play areas for the kids and some nice areas to walk as well, One word of warning if your heading for hard standing make sure you take some rock pegs as the hard standing is what it says, hard!!! All in all we found this a great site and will definatly be going back in the near fututre

Very nice site our 2nd stay here the only fault was in the toilets where the door ends and the legs meet the floor  These haven't been for a long while apart from that excellent site

So many things to do.

We stay at West Ayton many times every year, be it for business or pleasure, and enjoy every moment of it. Our favourite site. Choose what to do every day from the site using the WiFi after a lovely hot shown to freshen you up for another amazing day. Their information centre near the entrance, helps you choose the coast or the moors, further inland is Pickering lovely train ride, Dalby forest for one thrilling day on the bike, York and even a trip to Hazlewood Castle if you up for a splendid day out clay pigeon shooting, plenty to do rain or shine. Our recent visit last week was as good as ever. We didn't want to come home. The grounds are so well kept, table tennis,  a spacious dog walking area, and one big open space to play ball, fly a kite or simply watch other enjoying themselves. We will be returning very soon.

A lovely visit.

We stay at West Ayton 2 or 3 times every year and never tire of it. We only live 60 miles away but this is our favourite site. Choose the coast or the moors, plenty to do rain or shine. Our recent visit last week was as good as ever. We didn't want to come home, but left just before the Bank Holiday rush. Will be back in October.
