This was our first visit to Slinfold and found it a very pleasant site in an area we wanted to explore. It was such a pity that the weather was awful and that we couldn't make use of the paths around the area. The approach to the site is down a narrow lane which has few passing places and has a number of potholes. The signage to the site from the A29 doesn't exist and neither does any sign at the point where you turn into the lane. This should be rectified. Whilst some members prefer few facilities, we would have liked to have a toilet block with showers or at least some toilets so that we didn't have to use the 'van's. The village is a short walk from the site and there are bus stops towards Guildford and Horsham on the main road. The site is also convenient for Horsham, and there are supermarkets and food outlets available both locally or in Horsham.
