Good for families

Good site but..

Stay here for three nights to 20/9/19. Clean well presented site with friendly volunteer wardens. Pitches are allocated which is unusually for a club site. We booked this site due to its proximity to the Downs Link, we used this each day to cycle and its great, went as far as Cranleigh to the north and just east of Horsham to the south. As mentioned by others and as pointed out in the site description there is an industrial unit very near and this can be noisy with the intermittent horn of a reversing fork lift particularly annoying from 6 in the morning. Around us we had three units each with transit type vans, sole male occupants obviously some form of tradesmens who were quite noisy in leaving each morning before 7 and one of them didn’t try to hide his urinating in hedge. There is an access gate at the bottom of the site to the north bound cycle track this is useful but should be locked during the nighttime to afford those pitched at that end of the site better security. Overall a nice site very near a pretty village with an excellent dog friendly pub and at £15 per night good value.

When I stayed the site wasn't full so I don't understand the need for allocation of pitches.  I ask if I could have a pitch close to my relative but was told no as the site was full.  You don't get the noise from the Industrial unit at the top end of the site.

Due to the pitch allocation and the noise from the Industrial unit I wont stay again l will find a local CL
