Lovely site, great volunteer wardens

This is a lovely, quiet site in a picturesque corner of Sussex. If you are looking for a bit of peace and quiet, this is the place to go and at a fraction of the cost of sites like Sheepcote Valley (Brighton). The Downslink footpath/cycleway is right next to the site so plenty of walking available. A couple of miles up the track is Rudgwick where you will find the Milk Churn cafe and Firebird Brewery, both highly recommended. We also visited Amberley Museum about half an hour drive away, and Leith Hill which is the highest point in SE England and supposedly you can see 14 counties on a clear day. Finally, a word of praise for the excellent work done by the wardens who are all volunteers on this site so we all owe them our gratitude for keeping this wonderful site going.
