Pleasant Friendly Site in Good Location
We stayed at Stanmore Hall Touring Park on a rather cold weekend for the maiden outing of our new caravan. The site was well laid out with excellent clean facilities. Staff were very friendly.
A short walk to the bus stop for buses to Bridgnorth or Wolverhampton
An observation is that the "Super Pitch" we booked and paid extra for was rather smaller than we had expected. It was not possible to set the Caravan, Awning and Car side-by-side as required by the site instructions, unless we parked the car on the grass. Not something we wanted to do during a very wet February, so we tucked the car in front of the caravan but it was tight not to impinge on the roadway.
The other observation is that it is a fairly large site and although it was not full when we visited, so no issue then, I wonder whether the facilities would be adequate come the busy summer period.
