I stayed here twice this October, for 2 nights each. The first time I came, I was not familiar with the checking-in process, but it was less of a bother the second time (having to phone when I'm looking at the office). As others have stated, this site is large enough to warrant full facilities, but this was not a problem for me. The site is well kept and clean. The one major flaw was the lack of hand sanitisers at the recycling/bin/septic tank facilities. I know it is my responsibility to provide my own, but most places, especially in the retail sector, provide them. The written notes I was given said there were some on site, but apart from outside the main office, I couldn't see any. I also find it useful to have a bus stop just outside the main entrance. I love going to Newton Abbot for the day, and as I have a motorhome, it is easier to use public transport. Finally, it is located conveniently next to Stover Country Park, where I enjoyed a daily walk. I look forward to my next visit to Stover.
