Good short stay

The site is beside a motorway interchange so is very convenient for a one night stopover. There is a noisy hum of traffic especially around 5 pm. We stayed for a few nights and hated the multilane busy motorway roundabouts in this area of the Central belt of Scotland. We went to the Burrell Collection and enjoyed it. We went to Culross village and enjoyed the National Trust house and the charming village on a hill with tiny cobbled streets. We also visited Hamilton to check out the large M&S food hall and the large Sainsbury supermarket. The site was immaculate. We have our own facilities in the motorhome so did not use the toilets and showers. We thought motorhomes should get a reduction in the fee if they do not use the facilities.
