First time here in many years, so, a bit biased as we liked the 'old' site, it now feels very crowded, a bit like another Tewkesbury car park !... are there more pitches than before ? It certainly feels like there are, no onsite planting...and it shows. Very stark and bare, making being overlooked by the blocks of 4 story flats more intrusive than they ever seemed before. The 4 or is it 5 differant types of pitch is very confusing, the 'mixed surface' type particularly so, who is it for ? Motorhomes or Caravans or neither ? The block paving ones seem a bit 'over the top'. Now the good stuff, the Wardens are GREAT...thankyou for cleaning the fabulous new loos in the afternoons between 2.00 and 4.00 pm other sites..Take note. Lovely new drive over motorhome emptying point...no more back breaking hernia inducing manhole cover lifting. A missed oppurtunity for a great site. Of course being close to a lovely town like Tewkesbury means it will often be full, especially with motorhomes.
