Back to nature.

We spent 12 nights here and would return happily. This is a definite back to nature site where you find your own entertainment. The surrounding woodland is enormous and dying to be explored. The owls had numerous arguments at night whilst we were there, and for our entertainment the services played night war games a couple of times, although you can only hear them with their helicopters, etc.(An Apache helicopter flew slowly over us one day. Just for the enthusiasts amongst the membership.) If you want to go further, may we recommend driving to Swaffham, leave your car in the free car parks and use your bus passes to go anywhere.Kings Lynn and Norwich Cathedral are not to be missed. We quite fell for Great Yarmouth as well. Finally, we can not go without praising the clubs' wonderful wardens. I made a fool of myself by not connecting the caravan properly before leaving. Guess who was the first out to help us? Of course, the wardens and I must say a special thank you to a splendid chap who provided me with a spare break away cable to get us home and sorted out the electrics for us.I never got the opportunity to buy him a drink, or the wardens so we send our grateful thanks to the wardens and all who came out to help us. Bless you all. To the Club. Please.leave this site just as it is. Don't change it. The whole place is an abject lesson of how caravanning was and should be. A gem in the system. Les and Vera Simpson.
