Pitches too small

Lovely location and great facilities but pitches too small for caravan with awning. Instructed to park caravan/awning/car side by side as on many sites but once done, you are within touching distance of your neighbour. We only have a small porch awning so a big awning would really be an issue. Seeing as it's a big site, they really could afford to allocate each pitch an extra few metres. Having spent time at roomy sites where you park the same way but there is still several metres of space either side, this was really noticeable for us.

Can I go back please?

Just back from a wonderful week's stay at Trevedra Farm. We're not used to the skills needed to drive some of Cornwall's roads so the fact that the site is directly off the A30 was a welcome treat. A large, spacious, open feeling site with views out to the sea, we felt like we were practically perched on the clifftops. We used Trevedra as a base to visit Lands End, St. Ives, Porthcurno (what a beach!!), the Mincack Theatre and St Michaels Mount, making use of the hourly, open-top buses (just £5 each for a day ticket). The great weather we had helped too. Add to that, the fact that the team running the site, from reception to kitchen, were hands down the most friendly, welcoming and helpful we have ever come across. Many thanks to all and we'll see you again, I'm sure.

Amazing location!

We spent a week at this amazing site in mid-September, when it was still almost full. The facilities are excellent, a large block built in 2017 with plenty of space for everyone. The design means that the block doesn't need to close for cleaning, which is a bonus; they were always spotless. We were particularly impressed by the continuing observance of Covid precautions, driven by the owners, but observed by the majority of users. The only improvement would be the provision of more waste water points. There is a well stocked shop and café which removes the need for trips into Penzance for shopping. The meals were excellent, as was the pizza from the visiting van. The farm is 350 feet above sea level, and the views are wonderful, with the Longships lighthouse in view weather permitting! The path down to the wonderful beach is steep and narrow, but didn't seem to deter the youngsters with their surf boards! It's an easy walk to Sennen Cove, then on to Lands' End from the site, the scenery is magnificent. There is plenty to do in the area and we would recommend the Museum of Global Communications at Porthcurno, half price for NT members (also a lovely beach); Minack Theatre; Botallack & Levant Mines; café & walks at Porthgwarra and Cape Cornwall. I have no hesitation in recommending this site, one of the best I've ever stayed at in 25 years of caravanning.

A fantastic week in at Trevedra Farm, give Martin's electric bike hire a go !

Trevedra Farm is a great site with a well stocked jewell of a farm shop. The owners, Wendy and John were very friendly and welcoming. We were allocated a great hard standing pitch with views over the hedge to the entrance which was perfect for watching the comings and goings after a tiring day exploring the area. The site is very quiet in spite of being a large campsite in peak season. Trevedra Farm has very well maintained shower blocks, the laundry is a great bonus and the whole site being a range of tents, caravans and motorhomes is a perfect base to explore Cornwall. We hired our first electric bikes from Martin a really lovely chap who was very accommodating enabling us to put our Jack Russell in a basket he'd attached to the bike. We cycled to Land's End and on to Mousehole a lovely fishing village just short of Penzance so we'll need to return do the leg to St Michael's Mount. We would highly reccomend Martin for electric bike hire he was just brilliant at looking after us.

The best park in our two week tour of Cornwall

I cannot fault this site, from check-in to check-out we had a fantastic stay! With sea views across the site, clean facilities and a well stocked on-site shop as well. The check-in staff were very helpful, even finding my son a last-minute tent pitch to join us! Gwynver beach is accessed down a very steep coastal path /cliff face which took us about 20 minutes each day, but it is well worth it as the beach is dog friendly (all day) and is absolutely stunning, displaying the true turquoise waters that Cornwall is renowned for during our sunny week in July. Perfectly placed for evening sunsets, it was also a very short drive to Lands End to enjoy a sunset there as well. We will be making this a regular holiday stop.

Location, location, location

From arrival to leaving we were very pleased with our trip to Trevedra Farm. We were made very welcome on arrival and given full instructions on where to pitch. The pitch itself had ample space for our van and awning and enough room to sit outside without being too close to our neighbours and the view was great. Facilities were as expected for a busy site. Kept reasonably clean by the owners and team but could have helped if some of the guests had cleaned up after themselves. Hand sanitisers all over the site and a good system in place. The location is amazing and we loved watching the sunset and walks along the coastal. Yes WiFi is poor but not an issue for us. We highly recommend this site and look forward to returning.

No wifi and surly reception

Despite this site saying it has wifi, it doesn't and apparently other visitors stated it rarely ever works. When I repeatedly asked about this, I was given surly answers like "Why would you need wifi while on holiday." Wifi never fixed. Pitches were very small with no privacy between them. No views from pitch. Toilets often dirty but showers seemed clean. Pizza van was the only redeeming feature for this site.

Pitches need to be marked clearly

We stayed here recently for six nights, we were told that we had not parked correctly as the pitch marker couldn't be seen?! Well we parked where we thought the pitch was but to be honest with no clear markings it wasn't at all clear! We eventually got sorted, and when we said we would possibly reverse in, we were told. ' oh if you do that you won't see the view!'. Um what view??? There was a flipping hedge for our view! Yes it is in a nice location, but they need to clearly mark out the pitches, as it is not cheap to stay, and other sites are available!
