Fabulous location, shame about the facilities

The sites location is perfect, no question, we love it, and this was our fourth visit. But its a site of two halves. The grass pitches at the far end have a fantastic view, but its a four minute walk to the shower block, (the porta cabin showers were closed, though no way would we have used them). The stand pipes at that end have very low pressure, plus the wifi is next to useless. So great views. The shower block is inadequate not big enough, especially when the site is full, and it was. It is also showing its age, the sealant around the showers needed replacing two years ago, it still does. There is mould on the ceilings, and the drains in the showers are brown and grim looking. Its obvious the staff do there best, but it needs a refurb as a minimum it really needs a an enlarged shower block to serve the whole site, along the lines of the big shower blocks at the Centenary Site. I know the club are unable to get planning permission to put a shower block on the grass part of the site, so a decent temporary toilet block is needed, in addition to an enlarged shower block, you can get them, them have them at Hyde Park every year. Either that or treat it as two sites, one a CL and adjust the site fees to suit, I know that won't happen, but something needs to change.
