My previous stay at TH was in Sept 2017 and was the last time away in the caravan with a close family member and dog. Both sadly passed away and so I was apprehensive about coming back caravanning solo. I was greeted by pleasant and friendly wardens who despite being busy, had the time and consideration throughout my eight night stay just before October half term, to make me feel comfortable and safe on site. I have visited TH many times and the setting is brilliant for walking. Helvellyn, Blencathra are all easy to reach with Penrith/Keswick close to hand. Covid security measures were not over the top and people abided by them. Thank you to the wardens for working so hard to keep us all safe and able to enjoy our holidays.
