Fabulous Location - but at a price.
We returned from yet another stay at Troutbeck Head which is a well-kept site in a fabulous location, but this time we have rather a bitter feeling and that is due to exceptionally high costs. At over £40 per night for 2 adults , this is the most that we have ever paid at any club site and is more than many excellent commercial sites. Bearing in mind that a Lodge on the site can be booked for not much more, £40 per night to stay in your own accommodation seems disproportionate.
