We made our first ever Club site stay at Uttoxeter as we were attending the Acoustic Festival of Britain, which was taking place on the Racecourse. From the moment we arrived and were greeted by Sal and Steve, we were made to feel very welcome. The site is level and the pitches are spacious and well-maintained, and although it was full over the weekend we were there, we never felt crowded. The toilet and shower facilities belong to the Racecourse and are, admittedly, a bit dated, but are kept absolutely spotless by the wardens. For a first experience this was excellent, and we told Sal and Steve as we left that they, and their site, were a credit to the club. We're now looking forward to two more Club site stays already booked for later this year.
