This was our second visit to this site. It is ideal if you have a dog as there is a long walk around the racecourse but it is also conventient for the town. The weather leading uo to our vist had been very wet and the site was struggling with boggy pitches; as we had a motorhome we were offered a space on the old late arrivals area on tarmac which suited us fine. The relief wardens (I do not remember their names) were friendly and helpful. I think this will become one of our first choices for a quick getaway in future as it is only an hour and a half from home
