Friendly, informative wardens. Easy 10 min. walk into town (via pitch No.1) to a variety of supermarkets/shops/pubs and restaurants. Facilities could do with an upgrade but are functional and very clean. Mainly grass pitches 18 out of 72 are hardstanding, which could also benefit from a bit of TLC. Gates locked between 8pm-8am, keys provided for access to pedestrian gate and sanitary facilities. Some pitches affected water from the sprinkler system for the racecourse, information provided by wardens explaining this. Quiet site midweek that tends to get busier at the weekends. Plenty to see and do in surrounding areas for those who like to travel off site.
