Good for families

We will be back.

We visited the site over one of the most rainy days we have seen. This did cause the site and staff some issues but they handled things as best they could. The biggest issue for us was the Motorhome service point. It is based on a slope just past reception and Only has one lift panel. With our vehicle (European with right hand side drain off) that meant turning around against the one-way flow of traffic and the turning bay often has a vehicle or two parked there. The slope worked against us as we couldn’t run off 50% of our grey water. Next time we will try the other point near the beach? Other than that the walks down through Benacre Nature Reserve are fantastic. The food at the Waterfront Restaurant is highly recommended (book early). The food at the local pub was also good, even if surroundings were dated. Overall a great stay and we will return as the location was ideal for us and our love of walking, the sea, and eating out.
