We stayed here from 6th -10th May whilst doing a tour of the East Coast. Our first impression was how well the site was managed. Although being asked not to arrive before 13:00, due to light traffic on our journey we happened to turn up a ten minutes early, and found half a dozen Caravans and Motorhomes already waiting but the Wardens had taken complete control of the situation and basically allowed us all in, taking a membership details and then telling us to find a pitch and go back to the Office over the next hour to pay. We were put on notice that the Wardens were particularly stringent about speed limits around the site, which is quite right, and I have to admit that Helen almost appeared to have a "sixth sense" about this as she would enforce the message meticulously, often seen chasing the offender to reprimand him/her. The site was quite busy when we arrived and the pitches were well laid out and maintained extremely well. We did spot Helen on numerous occasions on her hands and knees weeding some of the vacant pitches- there's dedication for you. The Toilet blocks and Showers were spotlessly clean but a little dated. We were told that there would possibly be a refurb over the next 12-18 months.The site itself was well maintained and whoever laid out the Information Office has to be applauded for the work and effort put into it. It was probably one of the best laid out Information Offices that we have come across.The site is well located to visit the Coast and Inland areas. Unfortunately, we were only there for a few days, doing a recce of the area. The wardens were pleasant throughout our stay and very helpful with information.We cannot comment with regard to child friendly because we are both pensioners but from what we saw it appeared that the kids were enjoying themselves, although we didn't notice any dedicated play areas. We had a lovely stay and have to say that Helen and Neil are a credit to the Club. Well done to all and thank you for making our stay enjoyable
