One of the nicest sites on system

We have just returned from The White Water Park and have loved our 6 days there. We booked this site originally because there was little else available for this particular week, and so glad we did. Like the previous reviewer said, it is an oasis in the middle the middle of an area that was once a hub of industry. At night it was so quiet and peaceful. There are some very nice walks from the site down the river Tees and past 2 nature reserves, a bird watchers paradise, we spent quite a bit of time watching the seals at the barrage which is only 5 minutes walk away. There is a very large supermarket just a short walk away along with many other large stores too. The wardens were so nice and helpful and in spite of the Covid crisis we felt completely safe, given the steps put in place by the club, we were initially a bit apprehensive but all was fine. This has to be one of the most beautifully kept sites that the club has, the gardens are perfect and facilities top notch, so very well done to each one of staff, you are a credit to the club. It's a very easy site to find, being only a short distance from the A19, wether you are travelling from north or south. All in all we will most certainly re visit this site and would highly recommend it to our friends and family.
