Handy site very clean

We booked this site solely so we could visit the Harry Potter Studio Tour so it was just a base to lay our heads for one night. We arrived on the Saturday and found the reception very welcoming even though the staff admitted they hadn't been there long they were still able to book us in very efficiently. The site didn't have a great number of pitches available big enough to accommodate our van which is not a huge van by any means (single axle) so I can see this might cause problems in high peak times but the pitches that would fit were plenty big enough. The site is peaceful and very clean. There is quite a bit of light aircraft noise from the opposite airfield but my daughter loved watching the aircraft coming and going and it didn't interrupt the night so it wasn't an issue for us. Indeed, there is a delightful cafe on the airfield serving lovely food so handy to sit and watch the aircraft at close quarters. Sunday was the main reason for our visit. Our tour was booked for the morning and it was literally a short journey round the M25 and we were there in 25 minutes. My partner stayed at the site and took the dog for a lovely walk into the lovely wooded walk immediately adjacent to the site and took lunch at the airfield. We booked an extra night so we could leave later on the Sunday to avoid rushing and to be fair it was very tempting to stay the night but school and work would not allow! True there is not a huge amount to do close to the site and there is nothing for children here, but if it is a base for the surrounding area in a peaceful, clean site then this is the place for you, especially if you wanted to travel into London.
