First time at York Beechwood site!

Lovely location and a very impressive entrance to the site. The wardens are a credit to the Caravan Club, they were extremely helpful & friendly. We were very happy with our pitch, nice and level, surrounding area kept beautifully.Very good location for getting into York, especially as you can get there for £9 by Taxi! If I am to be a little picky, I would only say that the toilet blocks need some up dating. However that did not deter from having a most enjoyable stay at York Beechwood.

Nice place

We only stayed the one night but first impressions were very good. The Wardens were very helpful, friendly and approachable. We will certainly be returning there again for a much longer stay next time. It couldn't be easier to get into York than via the Park and Ride which is a short journey away. There are also plenty of major stores nearby for retail therapy if you so desire. As the title says' Nice place'

Great week

Had a great week,sat nav sent us down wrong road but we should have read the reviews will do from now on, site and facilities are spot on wardens don't seem to stop working ,found it to be quite central for York, NYMR ,designer outlets,and not too far for scaborough will be booking again

Fantastic site

We first booked the site in order to help two of your children move accommodation at York University and Leeds a University. The welcome from Trevor, Pat and the assistant wardens was lovely. They made us feel very welcome. The facilities were clean as was the whole of the site. We enjoyed it so much we booked a further week just so we could enjoy the site and surrounding countryside. Thank you again Trevor , Pat, Christine and Andrew you are a credit to The Caravan Club.

Beechwood Grange, York

Even using Snooper's Ventura Caravan Club sat nav we missed the entrance to this site several times. That said, once on site, we were impressed with the friendliness of staff and the cleanliness of the facilities. As first time caravaners we were also aporetiative of the assistance of fellow caravaners' who tried to help resolve an issue with gas to the stove (turned out to be nothing more than the hob cover not fully raised - affecting a gas cut off valve). We will no doubt be back.

Very enjoyable stay.

This is the second time we have stayed on this site and we will definitely go again. It is very peaceful , clean and handy for York. The wardens are exceptionally nice and very helpful.It is about half an hours walk to the bus stop to go to York but we dont mind walking so it was perfect and the walk is nice. The weather could have been better but no one can do anything about that .

great site good location

Stayed on this site for 4 nights.Could not fault it in any way.Easy access,friendly warden,lots of info in hut.Large shopping complex short distance away and park and ride for York.Toilets and shower block always clean and never had to queue although site was busy.If you want to visit York this is the site for you.!!!

Great well maintained site

We went to this site together with another family and from the start the reception staff was brilliant very helpful and friendly. There is lots of grass areas for the kids to play aswell as a play park. The toilets and accesories on site are clean and nicely presented. There is also a info shed filled with leaflets and ideas for great days out with the family. Just over 2 miles away from the site there is supermarkets which is great for the topups. Will be booking again for next year me and my family really enjoyed it.

What can I say ..... How about brilliant. Great site, great location, great facilities......and yes great wardens. Both couples outstanding constantly working on site, pleasant friendly people. This is what caravan holidays are all about. Mark & Sue

August to September

Been to beechwood Grange for last 2015 holiday before winter I must say we had a fab time nice friendly owner very well maintained site with a great little play park for the kids every pitch is a great size with plenty of room. Its straight of the a64 which make it easy for getting were you want to go for trips out. Theres a asda 2.6miles away from the site which make it good for top ups with food etc when you have a large family. will be booking again next year. Over all great site. Happy
